Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 18Proxy collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Service. We design our systems to collect the minimum necessary and to be private by default.
1. Data we collect
You provide directly
- Account information: email, display name, password (hashed), or Telegram identity if you sign in via Telegram.
- Payment information: processed by third-party payment gateways. We only store the transaction ID, amount, status and the last 4 digits/card brand when the gateway returns them — never the full card number or CVV.
- Support content: ticket contents and messages you send to the support team.
Collected automatically
- Minimal technical data to operate the service and prevent abuse: login IP address, browser type, and dashboard access times.
- Aggregate proxy operational metrics: bandwidth used, number of sessions, and activation times — used for billing and display in the dashboard.
2. No-logs principle
We do NOT record the content of the traffic you send through the proxies, do NOT store lists of destination websites, and do NOT inspect or sell your browsing data. We only keep the aggregate measurements needed to bill and protect the system (for example, total bandwidth per session).
Proxy credentials (proxy passwords) are encrypted at rest.
3. Use case
- Providing, activating and maintaining the Service you purchased.
- Processing payments, billing, and preventing fraud/chargebacks.
- Customer support and operational notices (maintenance, incidents, policy changes).
- Protecting our infrastructure, detecting abuse and complying with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Sharing with third parties
We share data only when necessary with: (a) payment gateways to process transactions; (b) infrastructure/network providers to operate the proxies; (c) competent authorities when legally required. All data processors are bound by confidentiality obligations.
5. Retention & protection
Account data is retained for as long as you use the Service and for the period necessary to comply with legal and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encryption at rest, access controls, and separation of secrets from source code.
6. Your rights
- Access, correct or update your account information.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data, except what must be retained by law.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications (if any).
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before processing.
7. Cookies
We use essential session cookies for login and state, plus optional cookies to remember your language/theme. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the dashboard.
8. Contact
